AEF Camps feel most children and adolescents should be given the opportunity to enjoy their summer without schoolwork. However many children and adolescents need to enroll in summer school or have tutoring.
They:
- May need to make up work or credits not completed during the school year
- Have elected to take summer credits to help them graduate early or qualify them for Advanced Placement enrollment in Fall
- Cannot afford to take 3 months off from school due to weak academic skills
- Need to take advantage of the time in order to build stronger academic skills
AEF Summer School and Tutoring program offers a wide array of services to accommodate every camper / student’s needs.
Tutoring for Non-AEF Students
AEF provides a wide variety of tutorial services for students who need additional support. Tutoring is available in all subjects for all ages. We have knowledgeable teachers in all subject areas on staff.
Tutoring is available after school for non AEF students. Days and times are subject to availability of our tutors. Transportation is not provided.
Executive Functioning and Organizational Skills Tutoring
Our tutoring program focuses not just on content but on teaching the student how to organize their time, work efficiently, and maintain a productive schedule. Students are provided with a tutoring folder; including calendar and taught an organizational system which can be integrated into the home and classroom.
30 Minute Sessions:
- $40 per session
- One-on-One tutoring in subject of choice
- Initial Screening Required – cost is $35 but is applied to the first tutoring session
1 Hour Sessions:
- $80 per session
- One-on-One tutoring in subject of choice
- Initial Screening Required –cost is $35 but is applied to the first tutoring session
